We started Sum Good because we wanted something better for our own families. We’re a Canadian-owned company dedicated to making "fruit-first" the standard, not the exception.

By partnering with local farmers and keeping our recipes simple, we’ve created a line of electrolyte-based snacks and drinks that are as transparent as they are delicious. From our home in the Maritimes to your home, we’re proud to share a product that is, quite literally, Sum Good.

We believe that healthy hydration shouldn’t be a luxury or a complicated science. It’s a fundamental right for every body. Whether you are an athlete pushing your limits, a student focusing in the classroom, or a family enjoying a weekend outdoors, everyone deserves access to clean, effective fuel that doesn't rely on synthetic dyes or excessive sugars. By stripping away the "nonsense" and focusing on honest, fruit-based ingredients, we are committed to making high-quality wellness accessible to everyone, ensuring that staying hydrated is as simple and natural as it was meant to be.

OUR FOUNDER

April Glavine

Founded in New Brunswick by entrepreneur April Glavine, our journey began with a mission to create a snack that parents could feel proud of and kids would actually love.

We believe that what goes into your body matters. That’s why we source our fruit right here in Atlantic Canada and use East Coast sea salt for our electrolyte blend. From our early days on Dragon’s Den to landing on grocery shelves across the country, our goal remains the same: providing all-natural, fruit-first hydration that tastes like real life, not a lab.

At Sum Good, our roots run deep in the rugged landscapes and close-knit communities of Atlantic Canada. From the wild blueberries of our barrens to the salt of our coastlines, we are profoundly proud to call this region home and to source our ingredients from the local farmers who know this land best. For us, being Atlantic Canadian means more than just a location; it’s a commitment to authenticity, a spirit of neighborly grit, and a dedication to crafting honest products that reflect the vibrant, natural beauty of the East Coast.

No Mixing Required! Ready to go! Having products like SumGood’s clean electrolyte option for myself and my girls is a must! We are constantly on-the-go from sports and activities such as hockey, fast-pitch, ballet and more, so having a convenient option for the whole family with an ingredient list I can feel good about is a must. SumGood’s “Mixed Berry” freezes have become a must-have for us. These taste great from the fresh pressed fruit, not artificial at all, and I love that they’re made with locally sourced fruit.
